Open another frontier

US presidential candidate Barack Obama has stated in one of his election campaign speeches that he would use military force if necessary against Al-Qaeda in Pakistan even without Pakistan's consent.

Well earlier Bush did it discretely. Its nothing new. Only this open declaration shows disrespect to sovereignty of another country. Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesman termed it "irresponsible".

I think Obama is being highly irresponsible. I do not think you do a "damn thing" on Pakistan's territory without their yes/ permission. Pakistan is not a banana republic, even though it has serious complications.
